Job type: full-time, non-exempt

Job Descriptions:

  • Work from the directions of the supervisor to move Wind Tower sections, set up and operate the media blasting equipment, follow, and complete daily build schedule.

  • Media Blast tower sections to customer specifications, prior to presenting it to the Quality Inspectors.

  • Be able to stand for long periods while using a high-pressure blast hose.

  • Be able to wear a fresh air supplied blast helmet for up to 10-12 hours a day.

  • Perform most of the work individually as well as in a team setting. Essential tools will be provided; however, accountability and maintenance will be the employee’s responsibility.

  • Work timely and expeditiously to deliver an on-time product without manufacturing errors

  • Perform other duties as directed by leaders and management

  • Actively participate in department safety, demonstrate excellent safety practices and behaviors which conform to all safety policies and procedures. Follow all OSHA safety regulations and wear prescribed PPE as required.

  • Embrace culture of Lean Manufacturing and the implementation of change

  • Ability to identify and communicate maintenance or product problems to departmental supervision

  • Must be a person of passion and integrity who has the drive to excel and deliver exceptional results

  • Perform all other work-related tasks as assigned.

  • Comply with all Keystone Tower Systems Company and Safety policies and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a heavy manufacturing environment

  • A thorough knowledge of Industrial Media Blasting procedures and practices are essential to ensure the quality of the product. This will include the ability to calculate formula using basic mathematics, standard U.S., and Metric Measurements

  • Able read and interpret work instructions, blueprints, manufacturing drawings or similar information

Highly qualified candidates will also possess:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
